It’s definitely feeling like spring here in Seattle. The crocuses are blooming all over the place.
They’re so cheerful and pretty.
And the daffodils (the little tiny ones) are just starting to bloom.
The rhubarb in our garden is sprouting. It looks so weird and wrinkly as it unfolds.
We have this lone little anemone blooming in our garden, too.
One of my favorite things about winter and spring in Seattle is the moss that grows everywhere and makes everything look so lush and green.

Lovely! I always feel like spring arrives here at the end of January with the camillias and sarcoccoca blooming everywhere. And then by February the crocus, grape hyacinth and daffodils are well on their way. Soon it will be tulip time!
Totally! When I was on my walk yesterday, I saw all these rotting camellia blossoms on the ground. Definitely missed the first round of spring while I was holed up in the house. 🙂 I planted 150 tulip bulbs last fall in our yard, so I am positively giddy for tulip time!
Whew! What a relief; I had almost given up hope that spring is around the corner, and actually is in full swing in some parts of the world. -2 here this morning…. Thank you for the hope! 🙂
Oh gawd. -2. I don’t even know what to say about that. It can’t last much longer, right?!
